Roleplay Rules

General, In Character

General, In Character

You may use bold, italics, underline, change your font size from 1-3, but nothing else during RP.
Posts must be 120 words long. It isn't that hard. Just start babbling, or ranting. Being descriptive helps completing word restrictions.
Four now, you may only be in five places at one time.
This is a Light Vs. Dark RPG
Discuss plots in OOC or in PM, but not during RP.
You shouldn't have to say too much in OOC during RP, so I don't want to see a lot of that

Biographies

Please use the form provided when creating a biography for your character.
This is a horse RPG. No other animal shall be played here.
Before creating your character, be sure to check up on the 'banned' list to make sure you can have a character of whatever that breed, color, etc, is.
You may only play up to four characters. No ifs, ands, or buts.
I will give you from one to two weeks to finish your bio. If you really are dedicated in getting involved in this RPG, one-two weeks should be sufficient. However, if some weird 'case' (etc) arises, I may make an exception.

Claiming

Only leads may claim other equines.
Make a claiming post in the terra you wish to receive and wait until you're accepted, before claiming mares.
To be claimed you can risk walking into a terra, or run into the lead of a herd.
Lights can't claim darks, but darks can claim lights by force.

Stallions

Stallions may claim one terra.
You may only claim one terra. Even if you have more than one stallion. The exception is being a lead of one land, and fighting another stallion for his land. This expands your land. You can't expand your land by "claiming", that's just to easy. Lets make this game a little challening, people.
Stallions that are not leads can only join by the leaders permission.
Loners/Other Leads may challenge a lead stallion for his terra and/or band.

Mare

Mares are not allowed to claim terra.
Mares may fight over other things due to plots and after my permission.
Mares are only allowed to fight over rank.
Mares may be claimed anywhere.
Mares have a no choice in whether to join a band or not. First Come, First Serve.(You may fight for her, dur, lol.)

Battles

Fights may happen anywhere except the Jeweled Palace.
You may have a bit of 'tug-of-wars' and competition for dominance, but no out-right war cries until you get into the battling grounds (Unless a plot calls for it).
If you wish to be graphic in battles, PM your opponent and ask them if they have a strong stomach or not. Some people get grossed out by blood, guts, etc. (Me? I love gore! xD )
No Godmodding (i.e, Shatter reared, screaming in defiance, kicking Flame in the head, killing him.)
No Power-playing (Shatter reared, screaming in defiance, kicking Flame in the ribs, breaking each rib after another). Let the other peson decide what damage you inflict upon them. However, no horse is immune to injury, or death - no matter what allignment it is.
Post six posts each, then PM the admin (or another staff member) to have your battle judged.
Your battle will be judged using a certain system that will be posted in the correct battle area.

Breeding

Force-breeding can happen anywhere, if you're alone. (Except for in the mare's leaders' terra)
Only darks can force-breed.
You have to have your leaders permission to look for a mate in the 'Suitors Fields'.
You may not be more graphic than what is appropriate for 13 year olds. I may end up getting more strict. I don't want Proboards to delete JEV.

Foaling

You may foal anywhere. If you want, you can go ahead and foal in the "required" board.
Stallions(Darks, or dark mares) may come upon your mare and kill her foal.
Please do not kill excessively. Say, one foal per week per role player. (Unless a plot calls for it, remember, you're allowed to create sub-plots among other members.)
The person whose character is the father of the foal will be required to post their characters stats on the foaling board before the foaling can begin.
